What's the best piece of advice you've received from a friend?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for April 19, 2007:
"Invest in Zaadz" is advice that's definitely high on the list. A long lost brother of mine, who you may know as well, didn't have to work too hard to convince me when we first met back in '05. The idea was right up my alley but it was a big shift in my [adventurous] plans at the time. To make a long story short though, I pretty much dropped everything and settled down in the Santa Monica Mountains. It's amazing how much has happened since then. Btw, I'm not just talking about investing money either. In investing my time and energy, I've grown a great deal, learned about so many great organizations, and met some of the most amazing people who have literally changed my life. Did I mention that I'm having a blast? Life is good!
I'd say it was good advice. And... I know it's just the beginning.
